Can I use a file from Ancestry.com to update my tree on Geneanet?

Good evening,
I have a family tree on Ancestry.com which has more information and facts than my tree on Geneanet. I would like to add the information from Ancestry to my Geneanet tree. My concern is that if I just upload the Ancestry tree to Geneanet it will create duplicates of the people and the facts on Geneanet. I really don't want to need to go through 9,648 people and 20,175 facts to determine if there are duplicates.

I'm hoping there is a way to avoid this problem? Any assistance is very much appreciated !

Thank you, jane

You can export your family tree from Ancestry then replace your actual Geneanet family tree with it. Go to https://my.geneanet.org/arbre/ and select the option "Replace data" (this is the default option).
