Research in Mauritius

Hi everyone,

I need help regarding my research concerning my ancestors from Mauritius, please...
All registers (in French) are available on-line until 1811, which is great... but after that the island became British and I cannot find anything at all.
I am looking for 2 families in particular...
The LEGRAND and DELALANDE (or DE LA LANDE)... my great-grandfather, Antoine Romuald Arthur LEGRAND was born in Port-Louis on 10th June 1886, son of François Arthur LEGRAND and Marie Angelina DELALANDE.
Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?

Hi there,

I know this site already and I registered a while back, but the birth/marriage/death registers after 1811 are not in-line...
So I was looking for another way...
